Turning the pages of history, BVM (USN) reminisced the historical event ‘Quit India Movement’ which initiated on the same day on 9th August, 1942. Unparalleled contribution made by the Father of Nation, was highlighted by Mrs. Indu Arora (TGT) in the morning assembly today, who gave the slogan ‘Do or Die’ to evoke the patriotic fervor amongst youth that shook the very foundation of British rule in India. Addressing the struggle in the contemporary era against drug addiction, corruption, injustice and cruelty against women, illiteracy etc, she motivated the students to break away these evil shackles and march ahead with a positive approach for reconstruction of a prosperous Bharat. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi paid a tribute to every freedom fighter and also inspired Bhartiyans to maintain sovereignty and integrity of the nation by uprooting social evils from the mother land.
